Our History
a lasting legacy...
What is a legacy? A legacy is something you leave behind to help benefit others.
There are 3 dimensions of a legacy: past, present, and future...
In the late 70's, a group of committed Christian believers with a vision and purpose from God helped start the legacy of Victory Baptist Church. They sought to impact Polk County and abroad with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Over the years God has abundantly blessed this legacy. Many have benefited from the legacy. It is our prayer that the legacy of Victory Baptist Church will continue well into the future. May we never limit the ministry that the Lord has entrusted to us! Because of the goodness of God and our continued growth, we must seek God's direction for our future. We are called to be good stewards and managers of His resources. We ask for your assistance in furthering "A Lasting Legacy."
A vision is an aim or a goal for which to strive. Someone has said “Vision is the ability to see where you have been, where you are, and where you are going.” To make the VISION of a church a reality: WE need to ENVISION the future together. WE need the SUPERVISION of the leadership. WE need the PROVISION of God.
Vision Involves Purpose
Vision Involves Prayer
Vision Involves Praise
Vision Involves Partners
Vision Involves Promise
“And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” Habakkuk 2:2
